The new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is now open at Walt Disney World Resort. Located by the scenic Seven Seas Lagoon, the tower adds 268 rooms and offers a variety of accommodations for Disney Vacation Club members and guests, including views of Magic Kingdom Park and convenient access to the resort via monorail or boat.

“Boasting spectacular views of Seven Seas Lagoon and located just a short monorail or boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park, the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is a fantastic addition to this member-favorite resort,” said Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Vacation Club. “We look forward to members and guests embracing their inner wayfinder and discovering new ways to make magical vacation memories together.”

Inspired by Polynesian culture, the 10-story tower features custom artwork from Disney’s Moana and sustainable design elements like rugs made from recycled plastic bottles. Room types include one- and two-bedroom villas, cozy deluxe studios, and the new two-bedroom penthouse villas, which sleep up to eight guests and feature full kitchens, living areas, and stunning outdoor views.

Guests can enjoy the Island Tower’s amenities, including the new Cove Pool with a zero-entry area and “Moana’s Voyage,” a whimsical splash zone for children. The tower also offers four tropical terrace gardens for relaxation and scenic views, including a prime spot to watch Magic Kingdom fireworks. Dining at the new Wailulu Bar & Grill celebrates Polynesian cuisine with dishes like spiced ham musubi and beef short rib loco moco.

Sustainability is a key feature of the new tower, which uses 30% less energy than similar resorts through energy-efficient systems and off-site prefabrication to minimize waste. The tower is also part of Florida’s Green Lodging program, which supports environmental conservation.

In addition to the Island Tower, Disney Vacation Club members can enjoy the resort’s various amenities and attractions, including the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and other new experiences across Walt Disney World. With its ideal location and family-friendly offerings, the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows remains a favorite destination for Disney fans.
