Disney Vacation Club to Begin Sales for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

–>

Sales for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalow’s latest addition, the Island Tower, will open for Disney Vacation Club members on October 1 and to the public on October 29. The 10-story tower adds 268 new rooms to the resort, ranging from studios to two-bedroom penthouse villas. The tower is set to welcome guests on December 17.

The design and decor of this newest DVC tower take inspiration from the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios film, “Moana,” which fits perfectly within the resort’s existing Polynesian theme. Every room will include custom artwork that is both an ode to the film and the spirit and cultures of Polynesia. In addition to the vibrant theme, the designs also incorporate eco-friendly items, like rugs made from plastic bottles, which align with Disney’s 2030 environmental goals.

Like other DVC resort accommodations, these new options have been created for groups of various sizes, including a new type of accommodation, two-bedroom penthouse villas. These villas can sleep up to eight guests and include unmatched amenities like a full kitchen, living and dining areas, two bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and outdoor patios with views of Seven Ses Lagoon and Magic Kingdom Park.

The traditional one-bedroom villas can sleep five guests while the traditional two-bedroom villas can sleep up to nine. Some features include laundry machines, full kitchens, queen sofa beds, and more. As for studio options, the deluxe can sleep up to four guests and the duo studios up to two with the duo studio including a Murphy bed that reveals a sofa when closed.

New owners of the tower will be able to take advantage of the same amenities as other owners at Polynesian Villas & Bungalows including a fitness center, terrace gardens, pool area, splash zone with a life-size statue of Moana, easy access to the monorail, and more.

The new tower will also include a new dining option: Wailulu Bar & Grill, a casual dining option offering food that celebrates Polynesian cuisine. The eatery will provide incredible views of Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom with both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the first all-electric kitchen on Walt Disney World Resort property.

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalow is one of 17 Disney Vacation Club properties that can be found across Lake Buena Vista, Florida; Anaheim, California; Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Vero Beach, Florida; and Kapolei, Hawaii.
